Cell Phones and College Students
According to this infographic by HackCollege, some 88% text during class; 40% use their phones for last-minute test prep; and a quarter take their devices out during each class.
Interesting stats. I asked some of the college students I serve if these were true in their experience. They unanimously said, “Yes!” I actually posted the link onto my Facebook profile (using my iPhone) and some of them commented that they looked at the link during class using their own smartphones. Go figure…
