Perhaps we should revery back to “casting lots” like they did in Acts.
I do wish they would impose time restraints on campaigns.
Some politicians begin their next campaign the day after their Inaugeration speech. It clutters up the TV with years of blather before the next election.
Let’s not forget that Jefferson apparently paid a newspaper to print lies about Adams, and some historians think that might have swung the election.
btw… these men died close friends… on the same day no less…
