By making a point, this pastor and church has alienated the very people they should be reaching.
I like how Andy Stanley puts it: I’d rather make a difference than a point.
The town got the point.
But the church has lost it’s chance to make a difference.
Way to rally the base and lose the war.

Crap like this makes all Christians look bad. I particularly hate the fact it’s in Georgia. I live in south Atlanta. Geez…
I’m not sure I would put it up on the sign like that. Yet is it wrong to hit the church for telling the truth? I get the culturally relevant angle but it seems wrong to not state what the word of God says. We would say it about other things. Anyway, this is tough.
